Team System for Restricting Access of Certain Masters Based on Location.
Scenario: Sometime it is required to show only selected master in the location. For example you might want to show only “Nike” and “Adidas” in your London Store. Team system helps you to achieve the same.
Assume that following setup is required at the location:
•Product 1 = to be shown in Location HO, London and Paris.
•Product 2 = to be shown in Location HO and London.
•Product 3 = to be shown in Location HO only.
1.From main menu go to the Team Master (M > O > T) 2.Type the name of the Team Master like Team A, Team B, Team C etc. 3.Press ALT + S to save the changes. |
1.From main menu go to the Location Master (M > I > L) 2.Press ALT + L at “Location” field to select a Location from the list 3.Now press ALT + L at "Team" field to select and assign a Team Master for the location. E.g. set Team A with location HO, Team B with London and Team C with Paris. 4.Press ALT + S to save the changes. |
1.From main menu go to the Product Management (M > I > P) 2.Press ALT + D to get the product display screen 3.Now go to the “Team” column and then press ALT + L to select required Team master(s) for every products as shown in the picture below 4.In the product display define following team then press ALT + S to save the changes. •Product 1 = Team A, Team B and Team C | Will be shown in Location HO, London and Paris. •Product 2 = Team A and Team B | Will be shown in Location HO and London. •Product 3 = Team A only | Will be shown in Location HO only.
Note:
•Same process can be applied for the Customer Master, Account Ledger, Price List, Menu Management, Table Setup etc. •You can use bulk updating method for this purpose. |
•FAQ: Select a ledger in the voucher. Thereafter team is changed on that ledger. What will happen? Ans: It will show that ledger in the voucher. But the ledger will not be shown if you open the list.
•FAQ: How do I filter warehouse based on location? Ans: It can be done by selecting required location in the warehouse master.
