This is basically used to cancel the reservation if guest does not reach the hotel for scheduled check-in and after crossing the schedule check-in time it seems that the guest will not come at all.

Where Cancel Booking is used before the scheduled check-in date, No Show can be performed any time on or after the scheduled check-in date & time. If a No Show Policy is defined for the Room Type in the Rate Card Master, then the No Show will be allowed only after "Check-in Time" + "After Check-in Time (Hrs)" as set in the No Show Policy Master during the Room Booking.

For example: If "Check-in Time = 11.30 AM" and "After Check-in Time (Hrs) = 2" then No Show can be done only on or after 01.30 PM.

No Show fee will be charged as per the No Show Policy is defined for the Room Type in the Rate Card Master.

 

1.From main menu go to the No Show Policy Master (M > H > N)

2.Create No Show Policy as shown in the picture below

3.Press ALT + S to save.

 

Fields in the No Show Policy Master:

No Show Policy

Type the name of the policy.

After Check-in Time (Hrs)

Set time in hours after which No Show will be applicable and penalty will be charged as set below. No Show will be allowed only after "Check-in Time" + "After Check-in Time (Hrs)" as set in the No Show Policy Master during the Room Booking.

Charge No of Days

Put the value at "Charge No of Days / Charge % / Charges Amount".

Charge No of Days: If you set 1 here that means in case of No Show the hotel will charge first night rent in full as penalty.

Or Charge %: If you set 10% here that means in case of No Show the hotel will charge 10% amount of reservation as penalty.

Or Charges Amount: If you set 5000 here that means in case of No Show the hotel will charge Rs.5000/- as penalty.
