Use to cancel the reservation before scheduled check-in date and this is subject to the penalty or cancellation fee as per the Cancellation Policy defined for the Room Type in the Rate Card Master. While cancelling the reservation a Cancellation Reason is mandatory to be selected. Cancellation Reason is nothing but the reason(s) for which a reservation is being canceled.
1.From main menu go to the Cancellation Policy Master (M > H > P)
2.Create Cancellation Policy as shown in the picture below
3.Press ALT + S to save.
Note: Cancel Booking cannot be used on or after the scheduled check-in date.

Before Check-In Days |
Set the days before which normal cancellation is allowed and for cancellation request made after the set time a cancellation fee or penalty may be charged. If you set 3 then for cancelling 25th December’s schedule check-in you must cancel the booking on or before 21st December and after that a cancellation fee or penalty will/may be charged. |
Charge No of Days |
Put the value at "Charge No of Days / Charge % / Charges Amount". •Charge No of Days: If you set 1 here that means in case of late Cancellation the hotel will charge first night rent in full as penalty. •Or Charge %: If you set 10% here that means in case of late Cancellation the hotel will charge 10% amount of reservation as penalty. •Or Charges Amount: If you set 5000 here that means in case of late Cancellation the hotel will charge Rs.5000/- as penalty. |
