Device Name
|
Name of the device.

Device Type
|
Type of Device (e.g Receipt Printer).

Driver Type
|
Enter the Driver Type. Using OPOS drivers, any of the Device Type specified in field above can be connected to a Station. Create a single instance of hardware (Ex: receipt printer) and use the same from Multiple station. Or choose DOS for traditional pattern of printing.

Printer Option
|
Number of Column (Normal)
|
Type the number of characters to be printed in a row in normal font. Typically 40 Columns printers (3” wide) are normally used at POS. In case laser or DeskJet is used, specify 80 Columns.

Number of Columns (Condense)
|
Type the number of characters to be printed in a row in condensed font. Typically 55 Columns printers (3” wide) are normally used at POS. In case laser or DeskJet is used, specify 110 Columns.

No of Copies
|
Enter the no. of print copies.
|
Number of Lines before Print
|
Type the number of lines to be automatically ejected before the each document. The gap at the top of KOT is required to tag it to KOT holder while keeping the content still visible.

Number of Lines after Print
|
To automatically eject number of lines after each document (to provide the tear off space between 2 documents).
|
Cut Paper after Print
|
Set Yes to cut the paper after each print (the printer should have a cutter), else set No.
|
Open Drawer
|
•After Print = Open the Cash Drawer after print out. •Before Print = Open the Cash Drawer before print out. •No = Will not open Cash Drawer before or after the print out. |
Print Logo
|
Set Yes if you print logo of the Company.

Logo File Name
|
If you have set Yes at the above option, then Press Alt + L and select the logo image file.

Customer Display Option
|
Display Mode
|
Select the Display mode, Blink, Normal, Reverse etc. Select Normal.
|
Blink Rate
|
If Blink mode is set, enter the Blink rate. (Set 1000).
|
No of Lines
|
Enter the total number of lines for the selected mode. (Set 2).
|
No of Characters per Line
|
Enter the total number of characters per line for the selected mode (Set 20).
|
Device Port
|
If standard Dot Matrix Printer is connected at POS, you need to specify the port (Serial & Parallel). Select from LPT1 to LPT9 (for parallel port) or from COM1 to COM9 (for serial printer). Select Default if you have installed the driver and using Windows Default Printer. Use from PNT1 to PNT9, if you’ve installed a print server and printing is done over LAN.
