You can use this to shrink data, remove temp data, rebuild data and delete activity log. RanceLab keeps the entire activity log which you may want to remove to save on space taken up in the database.
This also helps you to find inconsistent transactions. If inconsistent transactions is found, which is unlikely, you will be presented with a suggestion to either modify it or to delete it. You can directly open an inconsistent transactions in modify mode by pressing enter key and to delete a transaction use Ctrl+D.
Optimize Database Buttons:

Although this report was created to check the voucher consistency, you will never require this report. This shows the accounting vouchers where total Debit amount do not match total Credit Amount along with difference amount and suggestion at every row level. |
-I Inv Acc |
This shows all inventory transactions where corresponding accounting entry is not present along with suggestion and remark. |
-M Inv Mop |
This shows all the sale transaction where bill amount and tender amount is not same. |
-O Optimize |

Optimization required for speed up branch database creation
At present even for one GB database, branch DB creation process is running very slow.
The optimisation is done to speed up the process.
Added a processes to identify and rectify the mismatch in Prepaid Card Balance.
Sometime Prepaid Card balance shown in POS screen mismatch with customer statement.
Added two buttons in Optimize Database (T>D>O )
●Prepaid Bal (ALT + P): This will show a report with the discrepancy in Prepaid Balance.
●Update Bal (ALT + U): This will update the Statement Balance in Card for the selected Customer.
●The security is controlled using the same designation setting that is used optimize database.
