How to check complete customer details by swapping customer card?

Scenario: The receptionist has to check the status of the card at the entrance of the club. The receptionist has no business to open the Table Screen / Order Screen. So the feature to check customer information is required somewhere else where it will ask for the Customer Card.

Solution: We have added a new module called “Customer Information” in RanceLab® FusionRetail™ 6.

Setting The options

  1. Go to Main Menu > Customer Relationship > Transaction > Customer Information (C > T > I)
  2. Press ‘Esc’ button from your keyboard
  3. Press Alt + O from your keyboard, it will open the option screen.
  4. Here you can find the following options


The Process: 

  1. Go to Main Menu > Customer Relationship > Transaction > Customer Information (C > T > I)
  2. Swipe Customer card.
  3. Find out the relevant customer details from the page. 

Setting the Customer Information menu as the default screen

  1. Go to Main Menu > Master Data Management > Others > User Setup (M > O > U)
  2. Alt + L.
  3. Select User from the list.
  4. Come to “Default Screen”
  5. Press Alt + L.
  6. Set “Default Screen = Customer Information”
  7. Save.

Security Option for Customer Information:




Master > Transaction Option

Customer Info Option

Select option from ‘Yes’ or ‘No’ in ‘Is Active’ field as per requirement.


  1. You can set the ‘Customer Information screen’ as the default screen for the user in the user creation screen
  2. The Due is calculated based on all the accounting vouchers related to the customer irrespective of "Location" and "Date Range".
  3. In Customer information screen it will open in full screen and in sale screen it will open in a small screen.
  4. The screen has the following 2 additional buttons

-O Option:

Option for “method of customer input” and “card status validation check”

-C Select Cust:

To select customer at any time
