Issue
- Trying to FusionRetail application. Following message appears.
“Connection Open: SQL Server does not exists or access denied”
Solution
- In the task bar check MSSQL Server is running or not. If it is stopped then click MSSQL Server icon on Task bar and click on Open SQL Server Service Manager. Now click on Start/Continue button.
- If SQL Server is running and you are trying to run the software on a Network, then check for Client Network Utility in Start Menu –> Programs –> MSSQL Server. Check for Server alias and Port Number settings.
- Add Network Library Configuration
Server Alias: Name of the Server Computer
Network Libraries: TCP/IP
Connection Parameters: Dynamically determine Port: Port Number: 1433
