Issue

  1. Run Time Error 2147217900: Log file for database ‘Data’ is full. Backup the transaction log for the database to free up some log space.

Solution

  1. Run Enterprise Manager using Start –> Programs –> MSSQL Server –> Enterprise Manager

    Right Click Data file and go to Properties.

    Set Automatically Grow File and Unrestricted File Growth Option to On in General and Transaction Log Tab. Apply the changes and click on OK. Re-run Application.
